Services

Five disciplines, delivered by our own electricians.

Most of our work is commercial design and build. The other four services either support it or arrive on their own, and all five are carried out by the same team rather than subcontracted on.
Coverage is Greater London. Certification is included as standard.

Commercial design and build

Our principal service
We take a commercial electrical installation from first survey through to certified handover. That means specifying the system, agreeing it with the consultant, coordinating the programme with the main contractor and the other trades, installing it with our own electricians, then testing and certifying the result.
Typical work is office fit outs, industrial units, and refurbishments where the existing installation has to be stripped out and replaced while part of the building stays in use.

What you receive

A specification you can hold us to. A programme that fits the main contractor. Installation by directly employed electricians. Inspection, testing and certification. As installed information and the schedule of test results at handover.

Plant room installations

Switchgear, distribution boards, sub mains, containment and controls. Plant room work is where a commercial installation is either designed properly or stored up as a problem, and it is the part of the job that gets inspected hardest.
We install new plant rooms on new build, and replace or extend existing ones in occupied buildings where the supply cannot simply be turned off for a fortnight.

Smart lighting design

Lighting control and automation for commercial spaces: scene setting, presence detection, daylight linking and central control.
This is the one service with a design element as much as an engineering one. We specify the control system alongside the lighting itself, so the two are not fighting each other once the building is occupied.

CCTV, security and alarms

Camera systems, access control and alarm installation, specified around how the building is actually used rather than around a package.
We install and maintain these systems as part of the electrical installation. For insurance approved or graded intruder alarm systems, ask us first, as that certification sits with a separate accrediting body.

Fault finding

Diagnostic work on installations that are not behaving: intermittent faults, nuisance tripping, circuits that were never recorded, and systems that have been added to for twenty years without anyone updating the drawings.
This is experience work rather than equipment work. Twenty seven years of installations means we have usually seen the failure before. We find it, tell you what it will take to put right, and then put it right.

Send us the drawings.

Or describe the problem. We will tell you what it needs and what it costs, in writing.
